Hi friends. Maybe 19 days late, but I'm still feeling the freshness of a New Year. So the title of my new skin (courtesy temporary premium membership) is Fresh 2012. Here's hoping the freshness will last throughout the year, alongwith the skin! But I think it's designed to disappear the next time I make a journal entry. Here's wishing all of you fellow deviants a Fresh 2012. As my first creation, I'll be making a wp with the above theme. Bye and have a great day, everyone!

India. Probably one of the few countries who celebrate Independence Day and Republic Day separately, the difference being freedom from  British rule for the first, and the formal adoption of the written constitution for the second. Both days are public holidays, with celebrations throughout the country and individually in houses, on the roads, in parks and grounds, with formal flag-hoisting being de riguer. Next week is the time for Republic Day celebration (on 26 Jan), with grand march past on Rajpath, New Delhi. A great celebration of India.
